India’s First Permanent Immersive Event Dome Is Coming Up in Jaipur

Jaipur is known for its grand forts, royal palaces and timeless heritage. Soon, the Pink City could have a very different kind of attraction on its tourism map.SkyDome, described by its developers as India’s first and largest permanent immersive event dome, is scheduled to open in late October 2026 in Kukas, a prominent hospitality and destination-wedding corridor on the outskirts of Jaipur.Located next to ITC Mementoes, the venue is designed to turn events into immersive experiences, combining cutting-edge visual technology with large-scale event infrastructure.A Dome Built for Big ExperiencesStanding 21 metres high with a diameter of 60 metres, SkyDome will offer around 30,000 sq ft of indoor space and accommodate more than 5,000 guests.The venue will be equipped for a wide variety of events, including destination weddings, concerts, live entertainment, corporate conferences, exhibitions, cultural performances and large celebrations. Its indoor and outdoor facilities are designed to give organisers flexibility, allowing everything from intimate productions to massive gatherings to take place at the venue.But what is likely to grab attention is what happens inside the dome.When the Walls Become the ShowSkyDome will feature a 360-degree immersive projection environment powered by 17 Christie 50,000-lumen laser projectors. The technology will allow the interiors and even the exterior shell of the dome to transform according to different themes and productions. Imagine walking into a wedding where the entire dome becomes a royal palace, attending a concert surrounded by moving visuals, or watching a cultural performance unfold across a massive 360-degree canvas.The venue will also have an integrated production system, allowing event organisers, brands and creators to incorporate the dome itself into their visual storytelling rather than depending solely on conventional stages and screens.A New Addition to Jaipur’s Tourism SceneJaipur already attracts visitors for heritage tourism, luxury hospitality and destination weddings. SkyDome could add another dimension to that experience—technology-driven entertainment and large-format immersive events.
