Hyderabad is once again proving why it is one of India's fastest-growing aerospace destinations. The city is hosting Aeromart Hyderabad 2026, a three-day international convention from June 30 to July 2, bringing together some of the world's biggest names in aviation, aerospace, defence and space technology. More than just a trade show, the event is expected to shape future collaborations, investments and innovations that could redefine India's aerospace landscape.
With over 1,200 participants, 400 companies and delegates from 25 countries, Aeromart has become a global meeting ground where manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies and procurement leaders come together to build the next generation of aerospace partnerships.
Aeromart Hyderabad 2026 is designed to do much more than showcase technology.
Thousands of pre-arranged business-to-business (B2B) meetings are connecting Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Tier-1 suppliers, MSMEs, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) providers, engineering firms and procurement teams.
The event offers companies an opportunity to discover new suppliers, strengthen existing partnerships and explore India's rapidly expanding aerospace ecosystem. Exhibitors represent a wide range of industries, including aerospace engineering, electronics, robotics, advanced materials, telecommunications, software, logistics, precision engineering, composites, laser technologies and sustainable manufacturing.
The choice of Hyderabad is no coincidence. Telangana has built one of India's strongest aerospace and defence ecosystems.
Today, the state is home to more than 25 leading aerospace and defence companies, nearly 1,000 specialised MSMEs and precision engineering suppliers, and four dedicated aerospace parks. Its ecosystem is further strengthened by a network of DRDO laboratories, defence public sector undertakings, research institutions and academic partners that drive innovation and product development.
Global aerospace leaders including Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, GE Aerospace and Honeywell have already established major operations in the state, alongside a rapidly growing base of Indian manufacturers. Together, they have transformed Hyderabad into a strategic hub for aircraft manufacturing, avionics, advanced materials, precision engineering and MRO services.
In a significant announcement during the inaugural session, Telangana Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, a former Indian Air Force fighter pilot, unveiled the state's ambitious aviation expansion plans. He stated that the government plans to develop three new airfields at Warangal, Adilabad and Kothagudem, opening fresh opportunities for aviation businesses.
The proposed Warangal airfield is expected to break ground next month, while Adilabad is planned as a combined civil and military aviation station. Discussions are also underway with the Union government for establishing another airport at Kothagudem. According to the minister, these facilities will create excellent opportunities for MRO operations by offering significantly lower operating costs than major metropolitan airports.
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy proudly noted, products carrying the "Made in Telangana" label are now flying aboard some of the world's most advanced aircraft.
Against the backdrop of Atmanirbhar Bharat, growing defence indigenisation and expanding global supply chains, Aeromart Hyderabad 2026 is more than an exhibition, it is a powerful statement that India's aerospace ambitions are taking off
